In March 2020, our firm initiated a work from home policy and other changes designed to mitigate the risks associated with COVID-19. At July 1st, with new cases steadily declining across much of the country and in the St. Louis area, we are cautiously optimistic that the pandemic is reduced to a containable level.
Lopata, Flegel is moving forward carefully however, and we are continuing to follow the direction of the CDC and St. Louis County in updating our policies and procedures. Our priority remains the health and safety of our team, clients, colleagues, and loved ones, so we will continue to be cautious as we move forward. With these considerations in mind we want to communicate the following updates:
- Currently our offices are open. We are meeting with clients in-person, and we support any client’s or Lopata, Flegel team member’s choice to wear a mask or to take other precautionary measures while in our offices. We also will ask our guests if they prefer for firm members to wear masks while meeting with them in-person. Any client or member of the firm may request that anyone they are meeting with to wear a mask.
- With approximately 95% of Lopata, Flegel team members fully vaccinated and in accordance with CDC guidance, we have eliminated our mask requirement for those fully vaccinated. We are also requiring that anyone not fully vaccinated continue to wear a mask while in our office.
- We have configured one of our large conference rooms to allow meeting attendees to be socially distanced by a minimum of six feet.
- The firm’s Covid Committee will continue meeting regularly to review all CDC and St. Louis County guidance concerning Covid. We will update our policies and procedures as the pandemic evolves.
