Mike has been a dedicated member of LFCO since 1982, including his time with the firm’s predecessor. He has served in management since 1988, building a 37-year track record of leadership and excellence. As an Audit Director, Mike enjoys the opportunity to dive deep into his clients’ businesses, gaining a strong understanding of their operations. This insight allows him to provide meaningful guidance and solutions that help clients achieve their goals.
Mike’s journey to accounting came after exploring several majors in college before discovering that accounting “just clicked.” Although he didn’t initially know much about the business of public accounting, he quickly embraced the profession after entering the field and has never looked back.
Mike values LFCO’s client-first philosophy and team-oriented culture. He believes the firm’s strength lies in its ability to form close, lasting relationships with clients while maintaining the highest standards of technical expertise and service. He is equally committed to supporting his colleagues, treating each team member with respect and genuine concern for their growth and well-being. “We truly care about our clients and firm members.”
Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Iowa, laying the foundation for his long and successful career in public accounting.
