Justin has been with Lopata, Flegel & Company LLP (LFCO) since 2018 and currently serves as a Tax Manager, a role he has held since 2023. With seven years of experience at the firm, Justin has developed strong expertise in guiding clients through complex tax matters with a personalized approach.
Justin values LFCO’s unique balance of personalized service and technical expertise. The firm combines the approachable, client-focused culture of a smaller firm with the resources and experience to handle complex and challenging issues typically reserved for much larger firms. This combination allows LFCO to deliver exceptional service while giving clients the confidence that their tax and accounting needs are fully supported.
Justin chose accounting because of his interest in what he calls the “language of business.” He finds the insights accounting provides into businesses and industries both fascinating and rewarding. Specializing in tax has allowed him to work with a wide variety of clients, helping them plan and navigate an ever-changing tax landscape. He particularly enjoys the challenge of interpreting new tax laws and providing valuable guidance to clients across industries.
Justin earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University. His educational foundation, combined with his years of professional experience, allows him to provide clients with practical solutions and trusted guidance in tax planning and compliance.
