For the past 27 years, he has served in a management role, helping guide both clients and colleagues with his extensive expertise in tax and accounting. His leadership and commitment to excellence have played an important role in shaping the firm’s reputation and client relationships.
Jim has remained with LFCO throughout his career because of the firm’s balance between professional growth and personal well-being. Jim chose to become an accountant after realizing that a career as a professional athlete wasn’t in the cards. Accounting provided him with a path to combine problem-solving, strategy, and long-term growth while still engaging in a dynamic and ever-changing profession. What Jim enjoys most about his area of expertise is that there is always something new to learn in tax. He likes that no two situations are exactly alike, keeping his work both challenging and engaging.
Jim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University and later completed his Master’s in Taxation at the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL). This strong academic foundation has supported his decades of success in the profession, helping him provide exceptional insight and guidance to his clients.
